REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

General Policy

Private aircraft charter services require substantial operational planning, aircraft scheduling, crew allocation, airport coordination, permits, security arrangements, and third-party commitments.

Accordingly, all payments are subject to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Cancellation Requests

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

Refund eligibility shall be determined after consideration of all costs, liabilities, obligations, and commitments incurred in relation to the booking.

Non-Refundable Costs

The following costs may be non-refundable:

  • Aircraft positioning flights;
  • Ferry sectors;
  • Crew costs;
  • Hotel and transportation expenses;
  • Landing fees;
  • Parking charges;
  • Handling fees;
  • Navigation fees;
  • Overflight permits;
  • Catering costs;
  • Security arrangements;
  • Ground transportation;
  • Banking and payment processing fees;
  • Regulatory charges;
  • Third-party supplier expenses.

Client Cancellations

Where a confirmed booking is cancelled by the Client, LIV reserves the right to retain part or all of the Charter Price based upon:

  • Notice provided;
  • Aircraft commitments;
  • Supplier obligations;
  • Costs incurred;
  • Recovery opportunities available.

Cancellation charges may extend up to 100% of the charter value.

No-Show Policy

Failure to:

  • Arrive at the departure location on time;
  • Present valid travel documentation;
  • Obtain required visas;
  • Comply with security procedures;

may be treated as a cancellation without entitlement to refund.

Weather, Technical & Regulatory Disruptions

No refund, compensation, reimbursement, damages, or liability shall arise where a flight is delayed, diverted, interrupted, rescheduled, curtailed, or cancelled due to:

  • Adverse weather conditions;
  • Aircraft maintenance requirements;
  • Technical inspections;
  • Mechanical defects;
  • Crew duty limitations;
  • Airport restrictions;
  • Air traffic control requirements;
  • Slot restrictions;
  • Security threats;
  • Government directives;
  • Regulatory actions;
  • Customs or immigration requirements;
  • Public health emergencies;
  • Operational safety considerations.

Such events are beyond the reasonable control of LIV Private Jets and are considered normal operational risks within the aviation industry.

Force Majeure

LIV shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, cancellation, loss, damage, expense, or inability to perform arising from events beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;
  • Severe weather events;
  • War;
  • Civil unrest;
  • Terrorism;
  • Labor disputes;
  • Government restrictions;
  • Epidemics or pandemics;
  • Airport closures;
  • Airspace restrictions;
  • Utility failures.

Alternative Arrangements

Where operationally feasible, LIV may, at its sole discretion:

  • Arrange a replacement aircraft;
  • Offer alternative travel arrangements;
  • Reschedule the flight;
  • Issue a future travel credit;
  • Provide a partial refund after deduction of all applicable costs.

Final Determination

The determination of refund eligibility and refund amount shall be made solely by LIV Private Jets after final reconciliation of all operational costs and contractual obligations.
